NL Mission
Registration is closed.
Realizing climate resilient cities is a longer journey that cannot be walked alone, but together we can move mountains! Cities in Europe accommodate 75% of the European population. They play a crucial role in the complexity of the transition to climate neutrality. All city challenges and their transitions in energy, mobility, living and climate take place simultaneously and interact enormously with each other. Cities also focus on livability and accessibility for all inhabitants. This asks for an integrated and inclusive approach to which the total scope and coherence are difficult to grasp.
Technology, digitalization and data can offer impactful solutions. The transition to climate neutrality also asks for systemic changes and new business, revenue and value models. In this regard, companies and startups can play an important role in guiding cities in their transition to climate neutrality! Does your company make a significant contribution to these city challenges? Together with startups, scale-ups and SMEs RVO, Trade and Innovate NL and Enterprise Europe Network are participating to the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) and Tomorrow.Mobility in Barcelona in November 2023!
Possibilities NL ecosystem
The yearly events of SCEWC and Tomorrow.Mobility in Barcelona involve a vibrant place where important stakeholders from around the world meet in the field of smart cities. It attracts a large number of NL participants that together will - apart from the startup and scale-up mission - organize activities as part of the NL ecosystem. You can still get in contact with one of the organizations of the NL ecosystem for Barcelona. If interested, please send an email to climateneutralsmartcities@rvo.nl
